5 members of the Holbrook Fire Department were awarded the Medal of Valor at the 34th Annual Firefighter of the Year awards ceremony, held at Mechanics Hall in Worcester on November 21, 2023. 

     The ceremony was presided over by State Fire Marshall Davine, as well as Governor Maura Healy, who presented the Medals of Valor to Lt Johnson, FF Baker, FF Holland, FF P Campbell and FF Martineau.
