2023 was another record year for the Holbrook Fire Department. We responded to 3087 calls including:
18 Building Fires
28 Mutual Aid Building Fires (in neighboring communities)
1894 Emergency Medical Calls
129 Motor vehicle collisions
333 Inspections/ Calls for Service
Our responses have continued to soar and our job requirements have increased significantly.
5 members of the Holbrook Fire Department were awarded the Medal of Valor at the 34th Annual Firefighter of the Year awards ceremony, held at Mechanics Hall in Worcester on November 21, 2023.
Sunday November 5, 2023 is the end of Daylight Saving Time, and while modern technology has made it such that we don't need to turn back every clock in the house tonight, you should change the batteries in your smoke & carbon monoxide detectors. If you don't have a smoke & carbon monoxide detectors, GET ONE.
